Living Sky Tannery is located on farm in Indian Valley, Idaho, The entire process is completed by our own hands with the upmost care for your hides. We strive to complete the work in a timely manner so your only task is placing a gorgeous hide in front of your customers.

We will begin accepting hides again in July of 2023.
Step 1. Contact for Pricing
Prices for hair-on tanning start at $100. Contact the tannery for a full quote.
Step 2. Review the Guide & check for molt
If you get the first steps right we promise an amazing product you won’t find anywhere else.
Step 3. Notify tannery before shipping.
Package your cured hide for shipping according to the Tanning Guide instructions & print the shipping form. We are a working farm with seasonal shifts in productions and little space to store hides. So please contact before shipping to insure availability.
Step 4. Tanning of your hides.
Once started the actual process takes anywhere from 3-6 weeks depending on the age of the animal. We will contact you via email or text if we have any questions.
Step 5. Invoiced & Shipped
An invoice will be emailed to you that includes return shipping to the address specified on your form. The package is then shipped once payment is received.
